England and Derbyshire legend Dominic Cork will be the guest speaker at the first 1870 Business Club lunch of 2017, on Friday 26 May.
Guests will be treated to a three-course lunch, before taking part in a Q&A session with one of the county’s best ever players.
Cork played 158 first-class matches for Derbyshire between 1990 and 2003, taking 505 wickets at an average of 26.
He also appeared in 184 List A matches, claiming 234 wickets, and helped Derbyshire to Benson & Hedges Cup success in 1993.
He would go on to make 37 Test appearances for England, taking 131 wickets at an average of 29, with best figures of 7-43. He also claimed a famous hat–trick in only his third Test, against the West Indies at Old Trafford in 1995.
He was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1996.
Since retiring, Cork has become a popular member of the Sky Sports commentary team and has also covered global events with the ICC.
Only a limited number of tickets are available for this event. Tickets are only £40 + VAT per person, or as part of an 1870 Business Club package.
