Hospitality Terms & Conditions

Please note that our terms of trade, to which all quotations, estimates and agreements are subject, are as follows:

  1. Definitions

In these terms of trade the following words shall have the following meanings:  “the Company” means ‘Derbyshire County Cricket Club’, “the Customer” means the Person, Firm or Company which engages the Company to provide the Services at ‘Derbyshire County Cricket Club’,“ the Services” means the provision of hospitality services, function services and supply of consumables; “Consumables” means the food, drink, wines and spirits supplied by the Company at the event; “the event” means the named concert at The 3aaa County Ground

  1. Numbers Attending
    a) At the time of booking the Customer shall provide exact details of the number of persons attending the event.
    b) In line with our charges policy below any reduction on numbers is non-refundable after confirmation of booking
    c) The company will try to accommodate any increase from the customer in the number of persons attending the event but accommodating additional numbers cannot be guaranteed once a booking has been confirmed.
    d) Seating Arrangements

These are at the discretion of Derbyshire County Cricket Club and will be confirmed to you prior to the event. Any parties less than 10 are not guaranteed their own table, any parties over 10 we will endeavour to place next to one another.

  1. Charges
    a) All charges for the Services will be the charges quoted by the Company at the time of booking (subject to any adjustment in accordance with these terms and conditions), the charge listed in the Company’s published price list at the date of acceptance of the customer’s booking.
    b) All charges are inclusive of Value Added Tax at the current rate.
    c) All payments are required in Pounds Sterling.
    d) ‘Derbyshire County Cricket Club’ requires full pre-payment at the time of booking. All bookings are non-refundable, or transferrable.
    e) A booking will not be considered confirmed until the designated payments have been paid in full.
  1. Cancellations by the Company

If the event is cancelled or in the event that the principal name artist does not perform at the concert, the customer may ask the venue for a refund of the package except in circumstances outlined in point 10 below. The customer must contact the venue in writing to request a refund.

  1. Admission
    a) The company reserves the right to refuse admission to the customer if in reasonable opinion of the company, admission to the event might be a risk to the safety of the audience and / or the customer (or guests of the customer) or the running of the event. For example – if the customer (or guests of the customer) appears to be under the influence of drink and /or drugs and / or is acting aggressively.
    b) No bottles, cans, containers, alcohol or food are to be brought into the venue
    c) Additional event ticket terms and conditions and ground regulations will apply
  1. Liability
    a) The Company shall not be liable to the customer by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of the Company’s obligations in relation to the Services if such delay or failure is due to any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control (but the charges may be subject to abatement by a fair and reasonable apportionment).
    b) The Company shall have no liability to the Customer for any consequential loss to the customer arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Services pursuant to the Contract (Except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from negligence) and the total liability of the Company for any other loss of the Customer shall not exceed the price payable by the Customer for the Services.
    c) All goods of any kind placed in the care of the Company, or that of ‘Derbyshire County Cricket Club’ are entirely at the owner’s risk. ‘Derbyshire County Cricket Club’ accept no responsibility for any personal property or for any vehicles parked within the grounds.
  1. Bar accounts / credit
    a) All-Inclusive packages include selected draught lager, bitter and cider, standard house red or white wine (125ml), house spirits (vodka, whisky, gin, white rum and brandy – single measures only 25ml) with dash of soft drink and all draught soft drinks.Any premium spirits and wines are not included in the all-inclusive package but will be available and chargeable on the evening.b) No credit at the bar will be available on the day of the event, all bar accounts must be settled before leaving the premises (cash or credit / debit card)
    c) The 3aaa County Ground operates a strict Challenge 25 Policy. Any guests who, in the opinion of the Management appear to be under the age of 25, will be required to show proof of age; photo driving licence, Passport or Pass Accredited Cards. Guests who cannot provide proof of age when requested will be refused alcohol service
  1. Dietary Requirements

The company requests that the customer notifies the company if any member of their party have specific dietary requirement. The company strongly advise the customer to contact in writing with any requirements a minimum 4 weeks prior to the event, if we do not receive these by this date we cannot guarantee that requirements will be met but will endeavour to try our best.

  1. General
    a) No variation to these terms and conditions shall be effective unless agreed in writing and signed on behalf of the Company and the Customer.
    b) These terms and conditions shall prevail over any conditions offered by the Customer
    d) These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and each party agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts as regards any claim or matter arising
    e) All details are correct at time of printing. However you may be advised of slight variations in specification and charge should circumstances dictate.
  1. Force Majeure

The company shall incur no liability to the customer if the event is prevented or hindered by any cause whatsoever beyond the company’s control and in particular, but not without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by the act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, Government controls, restrictions or prohibitions or any other Government act or omission whether local or national fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike or lock out & shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the customer.
