Derbyshire County Cricket Club recently hosted the annual end of season Player of the Year Gala Dinner in the beautiful Marquee at The 3aaa County Ground.
Over 250 guests attended the black-tie event which was an opportunity for Members and supporters to mix with the Derbyshire squad at the annual awards ceremony.
Guests were treated to a four-course meal enjoying bar and waitress service along with a champagne reception on arrival. After the awards had been handed out the night concluded with a disco into the early hours.
Billy Godleman was the main winner at the awards ceremony, claiming two awards including Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s Player of the Year prize.
Wes Durston also picked up two awards, winning both limited overs Player of the Year awards after the all-rounder finished top of the scoring charts in both competitions.
