Producers for the upcoming Bollywood film, Azhar, have completed four successful days of filming whilst using the facilities at The 3aaa County Ground.

The film, directed by Tony D’Souza, is a biopic about the life of former Derbyshire and India batsman Mohammad Azharuddin, who is being played by leading Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi.

The cast and production team had full use of the facilities at The 3aaa County Ground, including the Greene King IPA Marquee, the Elite Performance Centre and The 3aaa Pavilion.

With the growth of the Conference & Events side of the business, more and more people are seeing The 3aaa County Ground as a viable option to host their own unique event.

The growth is proved with the arrival of Bollywood at Derby and anyone wishing to book their event, whether it is a wedding, a Christmas party or a conference, is encouraged to do so at the earliest opportunity with demand extremely high.

The four days’ worth of filming further emphasises that The 3aaa County Ground is not just a cricket venue and the Club is keen to ensure that all visitors to the ground receive a true Derbyshire Experience.
