Irish singer songwriter and former Westlife star Brian McFadden is set to join Boyzone when they take to the stage in Derby on Saturday 16 September.
The band will be performing at The 3aaa County Ground on one of just a few dates this year to see the boys first hand doing what they love best.
With Boyzone’s 25-year anniversary approaching in 2018, the band have an incredible catalogue of hits, having amassed 25 million record sales, seven hit studio albums, six UK Number One singles and hundreds of thousands of ticket sales to date, and they are still going strong.
Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey will be bringing their beautiful harmonies and much-loved tracks to Derby, in what will not just be an amazing evening for their fans but anyone looking for a brilliant boy band vibe, with Brian McFadden’s Westlife fame only adding to the experience.
Brian McFadden is perhaps best known as one of the founder members of the hugely successful Irish boy band Westlife, but also achieved great success as a singer songwriter in his own right and a popular TV personality.
Brian left the band in 2004 and went on to develop his own music, including Number One singles ‘Real to Me’, ‘Almost Here’ – a duet with Deltra Goodrem, ‘Like Only a Woman Can’, from his second album ‘Set in Stone’, and ‘Just Say So’ in 2010.
As a songwriter Brian has written for Il Divo and Girls Aloud, among others, also co-writing ‘Together We Are One’ – the anthem for the 2006 Commonwealth Games. 2010 saw him release his fourth studio album ‘The Irish Connection’, which included duets with Ronan Keating and Sinead O’Connor.
Brian then secured the role of judge on Australia’s Got Talent in 2010, staying with the show for three series, and later supporting Ronan in his 2013 UK ‘Fires’ Tour. He has since made many TV appearances, including The Jump and Celebrity Catchphrase, and is currently working with Keith Duffy in the popular BoyzLife double act tour.
McFadden said “It’s always a dream to work with the boys – Boyzone are and always will be iconic. I know them all; we have worked together in different capacities before, and we always have such a laugh. I am really looking forward to coming over to Derby and seeing everyone there. Be sure to join us.”
