Derby’s leading insurance broker, Bell & Co, will sponsor the historic day/night first-class tour match versus the West Indies at The 3aaa County Ground, starting on Friday 11 August.
The Club’s Official Insurance Partner, and tenants of the top floor of the OKI Business & Media Centre, have extended their partnership with the Club by supporting the Bell & Co Tour Match.
It is the third successive year that Bell & Co have supported international cricket at Derby, after sponsoring tour matches against Australia and Sri Lanka A in the previous two seasons.
The day/night first-class fixture will be the first game of its kind at The 3aaa County Ground and will be played under floodlights with a pink ball. Pending ICC confirmation, the game will start at 2pm and finish at 9pm.
The fixture precedes the first day/night Test match in the UK and is likely to feature a number of West Indies first-team stars, including Marlon Samuels and Carlos Brathwaite.

“The Bell & Co Tour match is becoming a known calendar event and one we are really proud to be associated with. Our Club is an example to others of its profile countrywide in the way it is run and we are delighted that our partnership increases year on year.”
