The Marquee at The 3aaa County Ground is proving as popular as ever after hosting a number of prestigious events in recent months.

The 3aaa County Ground is a leading events venue in Derbyshire, with an increasing number of people choosing the venue for their Wedding, Gala Dinner or Private Party.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club recently held their Player of the Year Gala Dinner at The 3aaa County Ground, while the Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service also chose the Marquee as the venue for their annual service awards.

The 3aaa County Ground was selected to host filming of the Bollywood film, Azhar, in August. The film, directed by Tony D’Souza, is a biopic about the life of India and Derbyhire cricket great Mohammad Azharuddin, with renowned Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi cast in the lead role.

Recent events in the Marquee also include the Derby Telegraph Wedding Fair, Law firm Geldards’ Autumn Ball and a Corporate Conference for 3aaa, Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s principal partner and ground sponsors.

All of the events achieved overwhelming success with many organisations praising the events team for their hard work, dedication and professionalism.

Future events in the Marquee include the India Club Diwali celebrations on Saturday 31 October and the upcoming series of Christmas parties, which dates are rapidly selling out for.
