To celebrate Pancake Day, our Head Chef, Steven Burbridge has provided his recipe for perfect pancakes.
Steven leads the kitchen staff at The Incora County Ground, which gained widespread praise from all across international cricket last year for the quality of their food and hospitality, and has been putting his skills to good use during lockdown, including an artistic gingerbread creation which was a hit on our social media channels.

Now, he has provided a pancake recipe that will allow you to enjoy some of that Derbyshire quality cuisine from the comfort of your own kitchen in just a few simple steps.
What will you need?
125g plain flour
Two pinches of salt
One or two free-range eggs
One tablespoon melted butter
300ml milk
How to make:
- Whisk the eggs
- Add in the flour
- Slowly add in the milk, butter and salt
- Pour mixture into frying pan and heat until golden brown
- Place pancakes on plate and add your favourite toppings
