Professionals from across Derby were present at The 3aaa County Ground for the annual Network Derby Christmas Quiz organised by Geldards Law Firm last week.
Network Derby welcomed a record number of attendees to the sought after Christmas Quiz in The 3aaa Pavilion with over 100 people entering and almost 30 teams battling it out to take home the coveted quiz trophy.
Hosted by Network Derby Chairman and Partner at Geldards, Nino Simone, the evening saw a variety of festive theme rounds to challenge the most competitive teams.
In a close-run contest, with one point separating the winners and runners-up, the team from accountancy firm Bates Weston were victorious, while Derbyshire County Cricket Club finished in a creditable fourth place.
As with every year, 20% of the admission fee per person is donated to charity, this year’s nominated charities were the Maria Hanson Foundation and Women’s Work Ltd.

To end the year with an increased turn out is fundamental to the future of the networking group.
