Derby’s biggest fireworks display

Derby’s biggest and best fireworks display returns to The Pattonair County Ground on Sunday 3 November – and tickets are on sale now.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is the place to be this November to see a dazzling fireworks display, the biggest in Derby, as Bonfire Night approaches.

Smooth Radio will host the Fireworks Night and Fun Fair spectacular, in partnership with Pattonair – the leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider and Principal Partner of Derbyshire, based in Derby.

Returning for a fourth-successive year, the event will include music and entertainment from Smooth Radio, a large fun fair suitable for all ages and the city’s biggest pyrotechnic and fireworks display.

Gates open at 4pm, with an unmissable fireworks display from 7pm. Tickets are on sale now and you can save money by purchasing your tickets in advance.

Chief Executive, Ryan Duckett, said: “Our annual Fireworks Night event is one of the most popular nights in the calendar and it has grown in size every year.

“It’s Derby’s biggest fireworks display, and being able to engage with our local community with a night that has something for the whole family is something we are immensely proud of.

Posting/Collecting Tickets

All tickets/car park passes purchased on or before Wednesday 30 October will be posted out to the address provided.

Any tickets purchased after Wednesday 30 October will be available to collect in advance from reception at The Pattonair Pavilion, or on the night from the ticket collection point located by the main Pattonair Pavilion.

We encourage all customers who pre-purchase tickets after Wednesday 30 October to collect their tickets in advance from reception to help beat the queues on the night.

Reception at The Pattonair County Ground will be open from 9am – 5pm on Saturday 2 November and from 9am – 2pm on Sunday 3 November to buy tickets, or collect those purchased after Wednesday 30 October.

Please note:
– to comply with ground regulations, under-13s must be accompanied by an adult.
– All tickets purchased on Sunday 3 November will be charged at the on the gate price. 

Premier Upgrade

Upgrade and watch the spectacular fireworks display from some of the best seats in the house after enjoying a warming two-course buffet.

Guests will be located in the Pattonair Pavilion and the Kappture Legends Lounge, with both offering elevated views of the fireworks, while enjoying background music and a private cash bar facility. Tickets are only £35 for adults and £20 for juniors (under 12s).

There are official Car Parking sites located around the vicinity of the ground. Visitors will be able to park their car within a short walk to the ground. Parking is £5 per car.

Car Parking is available at the following sites; 

  • Car Park B – Racecourse Car Park, entry off St Marks Road (DE21 6AL) – pre-booking only
  • Car Park C – Cardinal Square, entry off Nottingham Road / Stores Road (DE1 3QT)
  • Car Park D – Pentagon House, entry off Stores Road (DE21 4XA)

Limited accessible parking is available on-site. To secure your disabled parking space, please call 01332 388 101 in advance of the night. All car parks will be stewarded.

While the Club will always try to accommodate all vehicles visiting the ground, admittance will be on a first come, first served basis. We ask that all visitors try and schedule their arrival at the ground, allowing plenty of time.

Parking can only be pre-booked online until Wednesday 30 October to allow for parking passes to be posted out. Parking passes can be purchased in person at The Pattonair County Ground until 2pm on Sunday 3 November.
