Elton John fever sweeps across Derbyshire

Tickets for Elton John’s concert at Derby’s 3aaa County Ground on Sunday 4th June 2017 went on sale last month; the response has been overwhelming, with fans and the whole community gearing up for what will be the music event of the year.

The concert in Derby, his first there since 1979, will give Elton the chance to thank his fans there who have been so faithful to him over the decades.

Commenting on the reaction, Derbyshire County Cricket Club Chief Executive, Simon Storey said:

“We are thrilled with the response we’ve received for our Elton John concert next summer. Tickets are continuing to sell well and our hospitality packages have been extremely popular. Our 3aaa Pavilion and Legends Lounge are sold out but we do still have a limited number of gold and silver packages in our Greene King IPA Marquee still remaining.

“An outdoor summer concert that brings the whole City together has captured everyone’s imagination and it’s sure to be a real highlight of Derby’s events calendar.”

Tickets are selling fast, but are still available to purchase from Ticketmaster. The concert, which is expected to be a sell out, will be a rare chance to witness one of pop culture’s greats, perform music from his spectacular cannon of hits.
